Avast Antivirus is one of the best antivirus software which i have ever come across.I have used Norton,Mcafee,Pc-cillin and AVG Antivirus but no one can match the performance of Avast.
It plus points are a very fast boot time(which is not possible in Norton),a regularly updated Virus database and above all it is free for home usage.Its size is about 16 mb and can be downloaded easily on dial up.
I am using it for the last 2 years and it has never let me down.Do try it and let us know in comments!
